Through a variety of training, mentoring, and networking activities, we're looking to work with smart, creative individuals and teams who want to make and share news in the public interest whether for civic, educational or commercial gain (or all three). We're planning to share what we learn through a series of reports and presentations.
Initiated by François Nel at the pioneering School of Journalism, Media and Communication at the University of Central Lancashire, the MADE partner network includes software developers at ScraperWiki, trainers at TalkAboutLocal and the business incubation support team at Northern Lights. And network is growing all the time.
Want to know more about MADE? Want to join in any of the current activities? Would you like to support current MADE projects in Turkey or the UK? Or elsewhere? Or perhaps you want to collaborate on research? Or you think it'd be good to extend MADE to other places?
Don't hesitate to get in touch. We're always keen to hear and work with others who share a passion of getting things MADE.
